I have been on an Amazon Kindle Publishing journey for a while now and have some very interesting finds.

If you don’t have experience with it, Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) is a platform that allows authors and publishers to self-publish their books in electronic form and make them available for sale on Amazon’s Kindle Store. It is a free, easy-to-use tool that allows authors to upload their manuscript, book cover, and other relevant details and then make it available for purchase by readers.

So, is uploading low content to KDP easy? The answer is no! ⛔

So, if you’ve been following me, I have been doing this KDP challenge, uploading journals and notebooks. 📓

And I have been sharing with you all about the side hustle we hear so much about and how easy it is.

I designed probably 25 journals, and I just got those done uploading to KDP. 📓

It takes about 10 minutes per journal that you upload. You have to upload the cover individually, then upload the manuscript, and then run it through the preview, but the preview takes probably five minutes just to populate. 😫

So basically, you’re sitting there for five minutes waiting for that to populate, and you can’t update anything else on that particular notebook or journal during that time.🥱

I did not expect this to be quite so time-consuming. Has anyone else experienced this? 🥱🥱🥱
